Amrik Kandola, Commercial Mediator Fee Policy
When considering Mediation choosing the right person as the Mediator is fundamental to a successful outcome. As well as having the right experience and technical skills, a mediator with great people skills will help to unlock ideas, maintain calm and focus at moments of stress, avoid confrontation and generally keep the parties on track.
Fees are generally agreed on a case by case basis taking into account such factors as the number of parties, claim value, complexity and location.
Where the claim value is between £250k up to £1m, the standard fee for a two party, full day mediation*
including one full day of pre-reading and all pre-mediation communications/conference calls/admin
is £4,950 plus VAT (plus travel and accommodation costs, where agreed).
(* full day mediation is based on an 8 hour mediation. An hourly rate of £275 for each additional hour or part thereof will apply)
